Best Walking Tours of The Freedom Trail!
Our 1-mile walking tour takes 90-minutes and covers the Freedom Trail from Boston Common to Faneuil Hall, an important historic landmark known as the "Cradle of Liberty." Tour guides dressed as colonial figures make history come alive! Our tour guides explain, with humor and insight, the significance of the first 11 historic sites on the Freedom Trail to American history. It’s the best way to see the Freedom Trail!
From April 1st through November 15th, walking tours leave from the Visitors Information Center located at 139 Tremont Street in Boston at 9:30am and 3:30pm everyday, with additional 12:30pm tours Monday through Friday. Please purchase tickets online ahead of time or arrive 10-15 minutes early to purchase tickets on-site.
Boston Town Crier offers 9:30am tours—the earliest tours available on the Freedom Trail—every morning!
You can complete the entire Freedom Trail in one day if you choose to continue on after the guided tour concludes at Faneuil Hall. Be sure to leave plenty of time to listen to presentations in historic buildings and absorb the historic atmosphere of Boston.
