Where do we meet?
Right in the Boston Common outside the Visitor's Center, across from Dunkin Donuts and McDonalds where Tremont and West St intersect.
Do you accept school groups?
Yes! We are experienced in serving school groups spanning from elementary to high school ages, and are happy to provide an educational and exciting tour for students and teachers alike.
Where do I park?
The best parking garage will be the Boston Common garage, entrance on Charles St.
How many people can be in one group?
On public tours, we cap off around 60 people to ensure everyone in the group can properly follow along with their guide. We are able to accommodate larger groups, contact us for a quote!
What is the closest T stop?
Park St Station (Red or Green Line)
Do you host tours when it's raining?
Massachusetts weather can certainly be unpredictable, but you can count on us to run your tour rain or shine (Providing the conditions are deemed safe.) Bring an umbrella or poncho if there's rain in the forecast!
How long do tours run?
Our public tours run for 90 minutes and take you on the first mile and 11 sites of the Freedom Trail. Private or extended tours of the whole trail will generally take a few hours.
Do I have to book online?
No! We do recommend either booking online (via our website, TripAdvisor, or Viator) or calling 617-794-7512, but you can also book at the Visitor's Center in person. Make sure you ask for tickets for Boston Town Crier specifically!
